How we integrate Cookiebot with Shopify
Cookiebot is deployed by loading its JavaScript snippet in the Shopify theme's `<head>` before any tracking scripts fire. Ecom Majesty handles the integration: placing the Cookiebot script tag, configuring Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and any other analytics tags to wait on consent signals before initialising, and testing that cookie-controlled scripts do not fire for visitors who decline. Where a store uses Google Consent Mode v2, Ecom Majesty wires Cookiebot's consent callbacks to the `gtag` consent update calls so GA4 and Google Ads respect the visitor's choice. Cookiebot offers a Shopify-compatible setup with no dedicated App Store app required.
