What inriver is
Inriver is an enterprise product information management platform designed for brands managing large, complex product catalogs across multiple markets and channels — providing a central place to enrich, govern, and syndicate product data before it reaches any commerce touchpoint.
How we integrate inriver with Shopify
Inriver does not ship a native Shopify connector; integration is built through Inriver's REST API and outbound channel connectors combined with Shopify's Products and Variants APIs. Ecom Majesty designs and builds the sync pipeline: mapping inriver product entities and attributes to Shopify metafields, variants, and metaobjects; scheduling incremental sync jobs to keep Shopify inventory and product content in step with the PIM; and handling the delta logic for price and availability changes. Where a middleware platform (Celigo, custom Node service) is already in play, Ecom Majesty layers the inriver sync into that pipeline rather than building point-to-point.
What the work involves
- Sync pipeline designed across inriver's REST API and Shopify's Products and Variants APIs, since no native connector exists.
- inriver entities and attributes mapped to Shopify metafields, variants and metaobjects.
- Incremental sync jobs scheduled, with delta logic for price and availability changes.
- Layered into existing middleware (Celigo, custom Node) rather than building point-to-point where one is already in place.
Can Ecom Majesty deliver it?
