Sanity integration

What Sanity is

Sanity is a structured content platform with a real-time, developer-configurable editing environment (Sanity Studio) and a hosted content API (GROQ or GraphQL). Its schema-as-code approach makes it well-suited to Shopify projects where the content model needs to be tightly coordinated with the storefront's data layer.

How we integrate Sanity with Shopify

Ecom Majesty configures Sanity Studio schemas to match the storefront's content architecture — editorial pages, campaign sections, product augmentation fields — and queries Sanity's Content Lake alongside Shopify's Storefront API at render time. The integration can run server-side (in a headless Next.js or Hydrogen build) or as a hybrid where Sanity handles editorial pages and Shopify handles product/collection routes. Ecom Majesty also wires Sanity's live-preview and webhook capabilities so that content publishes trigger rebuilds or invalidate the relevant cache zone.

What the work involves

  • Sanity Studio schemas configured to the storefront's content architecture — editorial pages, campaign sections, product augmentation.
  • Content Lake queried alongside Shopify's Storefront API at render time, server-side or hybrid.
  • Live-preview and webhook capabilities wired so content publishes trigger rebuilds or cache invalidation.

Can Ecom Majesty deliver it?

Yes — Sanity is within our Shopify engineering scope; we scope the exact integration against your stack.
